Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to November 2024, Uzbekistan exported gold worth US$6.62 billion, according to the Statistics Agency.
Compared to the same period in 2023, gold exports decreased by 18.7%. The provided data indicates that no gold was exported in November 2024.
As of the end of November 2024, gold accounted for 27.4% of total exports, down from 35.1% in 2023.
In total, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover for the first 11 months of 2024 amounted to US$59.4 billion, an increase of US$2.1 billion, or 3.6%, compared to the same period in 2023.
Exports amounted to US$24.22 billion (up 4.4% compared to January-November 2023), while imports totaled US$35.14 billion (up 3.0%). As a result, the foreign trade balance showed a negative value of -US$10.92 billion.
