Uzbekistan expands presence in the Russian leather goods market
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of Uzbekistan’s leather industry engaged in negotiations with Russian companies at the international exhibition Fashion Style Russia, discussing supply agreements for finished leather products.
Uzbekistan reached an agreement with Shiveytekvs, a company from Ivanovo, to supply 1 million pairs of industrial gloves in the initial phase.
During talks with the Russian Union of Textile and Light Industry, both sides explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation and promote Uzbek leather goods in the Russian market.
Uzbek firm San One met with Regger, a Russian company, to discuss shoe product supplies, highlighting Russia’s significant market potential for Uzbek producers.
Additionally, Khorezm-based Darital LLC signed an agreement with Dariy, a Russian company, to supply finished footwear products to retail outlets across Russia.
