The topic of the roundtable is based on report of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov at joint session of Legislative Chamber and Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan “Concept of further deepening of democratic reforms and forming civil society in the country”.

At the roundtable, the sides will discuss actual issues and develop proposals for development of the Law “On social partnership”. The developed proposals will be directed at creating firm borders and improving mechanism on interaction of NGOs and private sector with the state bodies in implementation of social-economic development programmes.

Proposals of participants will focus on that that new law should ensure further development of civil society institute, their role in ensuring transparency and effectiveness of reforms.
