The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tashkent said that the main aim of the meeting was to assess bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Uzbekistan in human rights area.

The embassy said that the meeting was related with the visit of the delegation of the Czech Senate led by Jaromí Jermář to this center in autumn 2011.

The sides discussed development of bilateral relations in human rights area after the recent meeting of Akmal Saidov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg in Geneva, when they reached agreement to deepen dialogue in human rights.
