Uzbekistan beat Pakistan 2-1 in the final of the pre-qualifying tournament in Yangon, Myanmar.

Hosts Myanmar upset Singapore 2-1 in the third-place playoff in the 2009 Junior Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Pre-Qualifying tournament.

The top three teams -- Uzbekistan, Pakistan and host Myanmar --will play with Australia, China, Chinese Taipei, China’s Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Thailand in the qualifying round of the Junior Davis Cup Asia/Oceania tournament in Australia.
