Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan produced 18.8 billion cubic meters of gas from January to May 2024, which is 5.2% less than the same period last year, the Uzbekistan Statistics Agency said.

Oil production during this period decreased from 327.6 thousand tons in 2023 to 305 thousand tons in 2024. 

At the same time, Uzbekistan increased gas condensate production to 527.5 thousand tons, which is 3.2% more than the previous year.

There is also a decrease in coal production from 1.97 million tons to 1.9 million tons during the reporting period.
