Uzbekistan claims five medals at Judo Grand Slam Tournament

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Judo Grand Slam tournament in Dushanbe has concluded, with Team Uzbekistan securing a total of five medals.

According to the National Olympic Committee, on the final day of the competition, Utkirbek Turaboev won a bronze medal in the +100 kg weight category.

Overall, Uzbekistan earned one silver and four bronze medals at the event.

The silver medal came from Mukhayyo Akhmatova in the women’s -52 kg category. Bronze medals in the men’s division were claimed by Artyom Shturbabin (-66 kg), Khodjiakbar Toshev (-73 kg), Murodjon Yuldoshev (-81 kg), and Utkirbek Turaboev (+100 kg).
