Uzbekistan, China discuss bilateral ties, intl issues

The Chinese delegation arrived in Uzbekistan to hold regular consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of two states.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides considered actual issues of bilateral cooperation and exchanged opinion on some international and regional issues.

It was noted that the intergovernmental mutual cooperation is developing dynamically and the meetings and negotiations of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and President of China Xi Jinping in Tashkent and Samarkand on 8-10 September gave strong stimulus to the relations.

It was underlined that implementation of clauses of the signed agreement on friendship and cooperation, as well as joint declaration on further developing and deepening bilateral relations of strategic partnership, signed by the leaders of two states, will allow to lift the Uzbek-Chinese dialogue to new quality level.
