Uzbekistan beat Iraq 1-0 in the United Arab Emirates as they claimed their fourth straight victory in a friendly match.
Jamshid Iskanderov scored the only goal of the match through a penalty in the 13th minute.
Iraq also had a penalty but they missed the chance. The sides will face each other in the second friendly match, which will be held on 28 Dececember.
Uzbekistan will begin their 2015 AFC Asian Cup campaign against North Korea on 10 January before facing China and Saudi Arabia.
