Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Delhi hosted International Bazaar Festival 2018. The festival was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations in Delhi, public, creative organizations, cultural institutions, leading travel companies and the mass media of India.
This festival, the main organizer of which is Delhi Commonwealth Women’s Association (DCWA), serves as a unique platform for demonstration of traditions and customs, art and national cuisine of their countries by diplomatic missions in India.
In order to promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, as well as to demonstrate the rich culture of Uzbekistan people, this year the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Delhi co-organized this event.
The stand of Uzbekistan was decorated in the national style with the use of products of traditional and applied art. Visitors were presented with colorful information materials telling about the rich historical and cultural heritage of the country, customs and traditions of Uzbek people.
During the festival, the Uzbek national costumes show was also organized, which aroused keen interest and applause of the festival participants.
