Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 25 to 27 November 2024, a delegation from the Tourism Committee is representing Uzbekistan at the international exhibition "Qatar Travel Mart" in Doha.
At the national stand, the country showcased its rich cultural traditions, unique tourist routes, and modern infrastructure projects, attracting the attention of potential partners from the tourism industry.
The international platform "Qatar Travel Mart" brought together representatives from leading tourism companies, airlines, and hotels. Uzbekistan presented its tourism offerings, ranging from historical Silk Road landmarks to modern attractions, highlighting the growing potential for expanding tourism flows.
An important aspect of the visit was the delegation’s meeting with representatives of the international media outlet Al Jazeera. The negotiations focused on promoting Uzbekistan’s tourist resources on Middle Eastern media platforms, opening up new opportunities to raise the country’s profile as a tourist destination.
The delegation also held talks with potential partners, discussing opportunities for cooperation and increasing tourism from the Gulf countries.
Participation in the exhibition underscores Uzbekistan’s commitment to expanding international cooperation in the tourism sector and strengthening its position on the global tourism stage.
