Uzbekistan applies to host AFC U-19 Championship
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Five countries – Iran, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, UAE and Palestine – expressed wish to host the AFC U-19 Championship, which will be held in 2012.
This was announced last Friday at the session of the AFC Committee on organization of youth tournaments.
At the same time, only Iran and Palestine expressed their interest to host the AFC U-16 Championship, the committee said.
The decision on the venues of the tournament will be adopted on 21 November 2011. At the same time, the countries, which want to host event, should book their place in the finals through qualifiers.
