Uzbekistan announces 31 December as working day
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On moving day off from Saturday, 31 December 2011, to Monday, 2 January 2012” on 26 December 2011.
The resolution was adopted to create favourable conditions for rest of population in connection with celebrations of New Year.
In line with the document, day off was moved from Saturday, 31 December, to Monday, 2 January 2012.
The Uzbek President Islam Karimov announced Saturday, 31 December 2011, as working day.
