Uzbekistan announces 2010 as the Year of Harmonically Developed Generation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan announced 2010 as the Year of Harmonically Developed Generation. This was announced at the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 17th anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan, which was held on Saturday at the Uzbekistan International Forums Palace.

As a tradition, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov proposed at the ceremony to announce 2010 as the Year of Harmonically Developed Generation. The participants supported the initiative with standing applauds.

Uzbekistan marked 2009 as the Year of Rural Development and Well-being.
