Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with Daniil Shuleyko, Yandex’s Global CEO.

The discussion focused on strategic priorities for collaboration between the Ministry and Yandex, the development of digital technology innovations, and the practical implementation of joint projects.

Particular attention was given to promising avenues of cooperation with Yandex aimed at advancing digital technologies in Uzbekistan.

Specifically, they explored potential projects leveraging Yandex’s expertise in artificial intelligence, including its application in public administration, service automation, and fostering collaboration with local IT companies.

The meeting also covered opportunities to optimize data exchange processes and enhance services using Yandex’s technologies and innovations.

Additionally, Yandex’s educational initiatives were reviewed. These initiatives are designed to equip young people with modern IT knowledge and skills, ensuring their competitiveness in the global market. Special emphasis was placed on proposals for joint projects in programming, artificial intelligence, and data analysis.

It was noted that all the issues raised during the meeting represent significant steps toward the continued development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Ministry and Yandex.
