During the meeting, the Uzbek side informed the USTOA about the measures and reforms adopted by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan to develop tourism sector in Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed cooperation between the State Committee for Tourism and the USTOA, including the issues of increasing the tourist flow from the US to Uzbekistan.

The Association of Private Tourist Organizations of Uzbekistan and the Association of US Tour Operators have signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of tourism. This is the first step in establishing mutually beneficial cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to exert all necessary efforts to further deepen bilateral relations in the field of tourism.
