Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Tashkent, Abdusalom Azizov, Chairman of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan, met with a delegation from Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization, led by Ibrahim Kalin.

This meeting was organized as part of the agreements reached in September between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Türkiye.

During the discussions, the parties addressed issues of security cooperation, counter-terrorism and extremism efforts, as well as combating illegal migration and organized crime. Special attention was given to the issues of arresting and deporting individuals wanted for terrorist activities.
