Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The government delegations of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) held a meeting in Tashkent.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and the Minister for Government and Future Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, took part in the meeting. The meeting was also attended by the heads of the responsible ministries and departments of the two countries.
The participants addressed the issue of the application in Uzbekistan of the achievements of the United Arab Emirates in the system of government.
The delegations of two countries discussed the development and implementation of a joint cooperation project between the two countries for the medium and long term to improve the efficiency of public administration.
The sides exchanged views on the further expansion of promising cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE, as well as the creation of working groups to effectively organize their activities.
In the afternoon, the working groups held bilateral meetings.
