The document was signed within the visit of the Minister of Tourism and Sport of Thailand Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul to Uzbekistan.

On 6 October, Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul took part in in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair and familiarized with the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

She also met with the chairperson of Uzbektourism Farrukh Rizaev. In the result of the talks, the sides signed the agreement on cooperation in the sphere of tourism.

The agreement will boost cooperation between two nations in tourism sector, establish close contacts with tourism administrations and tourism companies.

It will help to expand tourism exchanges and popularize tourism brand of Uzbekistan in Thailand.
