During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular the possibility of increasing the number of tourists from Tatarstan to Uzbekistan.

The sides agreed to develop special tourist packages for tourists of Tatarstan, taking into account their interests and needs, and to activate promotion of the national tourist product of Uzbekistan in the tourist market of Tatarstan.

Aziz Abdukhakimov and Sergey Ivanov discussed issue of organizing tours for employees of large companies of Tatarstan to Uzbekistan with involvement of trade unions.

The State Committee of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development and the State Committee for Tourism of Tatarstan signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism.

The document covers whole range of partnership areas, including in the field of various tourist events in the territory of the two countries, investing in tourism, education, information exchange, etc.
