Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 14 November, the seventh round of political consultations between Uzbekistan and Switzerland took place online.

The negotiations, conducted via video conference, were attended by representatives from the relevant departments of the foreign ministries of both countries.

During the consultations, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Switzerland.

Special attention was given to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic, investment, financial, technical, and cultural-humanitarian areas, as well as within the framework of international organizations.

As a result of the negotiations, the sides agreed to jointly work on organizing reciprocal visits and events at various levels, expanding the legal framework for bilateral relations, and holding the next round of political consultations in 2025 in Bern.
