Uzbekistan and Suriname establish diplomatic relations.
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan and Suriname have officially established diplomatic relations, according to the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A communiqué on the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties was signed in New York.
The document was signed by Uzbekistan's Permanent Representative to the UN, Ulugbek Lapasov, and his Surinamese counterpart, Sunil Algram Sitaldin.
Suriname has become the 158th country with which Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations.
