Uzbekistan and Slovakia Strengthen Industrial Cooperation and Investment Partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 15–16 July, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, paid a working visit to Slovakia.
During the visit, Minister Kudratov held talks with Slovakia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Denisa Saková, Chairman of the Board of Eximbank Slovakia, Rastislav Podhorec, as well as with top executives of leading Slovak industrial and investment companies.
The discussions focused on concrete steps to expand industrial cooperation and launch new joint manufacturing projects.
Special attention was given to enhancing partnerships in key sectors such as mechanical engineering, metallurgy, agro-industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, transportation, finance, and infrastructure development.
As a result of the visit, the two sides agreed to prepare a joint roadmap to promote all the discussed initiatives. They also confirmed plans to hold an Uzbekistan–Slovakia business forum in Uzbekistan this fall.
