Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 15 July 2025, a delegation from Uzbekistan visited the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) “Alabuga” in the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the visit, discussions focused on the legal employment of Uzbek citizens, ensuring safe working conditions, and creating a comfortable living environment. The management of SEZ “Alabuga” highly praised the professional contributions of Uzbek specialists and expressed readiness to further expand cooperation.

Preventive meetings were held with Uzbek citizens working and residing in the zone. Special attention was given to compliance with migration legislation, proper documentation, and prevention of legal violations.

Delegation members listened to the concerns and suggestions of the workers. Additional consultations were conducted with company management to promptly address raised issues, particularly in the areas of daily life and social support.

A representative of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan also held a spiritual and educational session aimed at strengthening moral values, promoting spiritual well-being, and fostering interethnic harmony among migrant workers.
