Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 4 June, the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov held a meeting with the co-chairman of the Uzbek-Saudi Business Council and the chairman of the board of ACWA Power Muhammad Abunayyan.

The sides addressed the expansion of cooperation with leading Saudi Arabian companies and their involvement in public-private partnership (PPP) projects aimed at developing Uzbekistan's transport and road infrastructure.

Muhammad Abunayyan praised the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan's transport system and expressed interest in implementing joint projects with the participation of Saudi Arabian companies.
