Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Russia held a meeting of the Subcommittee on Culture.
The delegation of Uzbekistan was presented by the Minister of Culture and Tourism Ozodbek Nazarbekov, the delegation of the Russian Federation was presented by State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Nadezhda Reverend.
The participants discussed the results of joint events, cooperation in the field of film production and plans for exchange events.
This year, thanks to the project of the Russian Cultural Foundation, the National Library of Uzbekistan will receive a set of classical and modern literature for children, adolescents and youth, including works by S. V. Mikhalkov.
Also, in honor of the 110th anniversary of Sergei Mikhalkov, exhibitions, screenings of feature and animation films, master classes and much more will be held in Uzbekistan.
“We have implemented many bright joint projects in all spheres of culture. We have big plans ahead, and I am convinced that their implementation will bring us even closer and strengthen Russian-Uzbek cooperation in the field of culture,” said Nadezhda Reverend.
