Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov held a meeting with the head of Qatar’s civil aviation Mohammed Faleh Al-Hajri.

The sides discussed prospects for developing cargo and passenger air transport between the two countries.

The parties exchanged views on the possibility of increasing the number of regular flights between Tashkent and Doha from 4 to 7 per week, as well as further connecting Doha to regional airports in Uzbekistan.

Mohammed Faleh Al-Hajri expressed confidence that Qatar Airways flights to Uzbekistan would enhance the status of Doha and Tashkent’s international airports as convenient hubs for transit passengers.
