Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On the sidelines of the COP29 UN Climate Change Conference in Baku, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, and tourism sectors.
To develop an economic agenda, it was proposed to establish an Intergovernmental Commission and hold its first session with a business forum next year in Tashkent.
Additionally, the parties agreed to prepare basic agreements on trade-economic cooperation and investment protection, as well as to develop a "roadmap" for the development of industrial cooperation in priority sectors.
The schedule of upcoming high-level meetings was also discussed.
