Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Jamoliddin Nazarov, Head of the Air Transport Department at the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held talks with Purevjav Munkhjargal, head of the Mongolian airline Hunnu Air.

During the meeting, the parties thoroughly discussed the organization of direct regular air service between Uzbekistan and Mongolia. Particular attention was given to the practical aspects of launching passenger flights on the Ulaanbaatar–Tashkent route.

Purevjav Munkhjargal stated that the airline plans to begin operating regular flights on this route starting from September of this year. The sides also discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of transit cargo transportation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties outlined concrete steps to implement the agreements reached and to further strengthen their mutually beneficial partnership in the field of civil aviation.
