Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan between Deputy Minister Olimjon Abdullaev and the Charge d’Affaires of the State of Kuwait in Uzbekistan, Khalid Al-Mutayrat.

During the meeting, the sides discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation, with a particular focus on labor migration and simplifying the visa regime. The prospects for organizing high-level bilateral and multilateral meetings were also considered.

To more effectively address migration and visa issues, an agreement was reached to establish a "Working Group" involving officials from both Uzbekistan and Kuwait. This group will ensure continuous and systematic dialogue, as well as prompt coordination on current issues. This initiative highlights the commitment of both countries to strengthen cooperation in the migration sector.
