Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 28 to 30 March, the "AlmatyFair.ai" international exhibition is taking place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, showcasing AI innovations, strengthening regional cooperation, and fostering business ties among IT companies, startups, and experts.

On 29 March, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan visited the digital technology and AI exhibition, where they explored cutting-edge solutions and innovations in these fields.

As part of the visit, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, met with Kazakhstan’s Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry, Zhaslan Madiev.

During the talks, the ministers discussed: IT sector cooperation, support for startups, and joint digital transformation projects, strengthening partnerships between IT Park Uzbekistan and AstanaHub, developing AI in Central Asia, including IT and AI talent training, startup support, and enhancing the innovation ecosystem and experience-sharing on digital solutions and AI technologies in the public sector.

The meeting underscored the growing collaboration between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in digital innovation and AI development across the region.
