Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov met with the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Turkish company Kalyon Holding, Lütfi Elvan.
The meeting took place within the framework of the Uzbek-Turkish business forum in Ankara.
The parties discussed the experience and prospects in the field of energy, infrastructure, and electrical engineering industry. The parties also considered the possibility of implementing new projects and developing cooperation based on the experience of Kalyon Holding.
Special attention was paid to the development of the logistics sector, modernization of airport infrastructure, and implementation of transportation projects. Issues related to geology, privatization, wind energy development, and public-private partnership were also discussed.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation in the mentioned areas.
Kalyon Holding, founded in 1947, is actively involved in the construction, energy, and electrical engineering industries. The holding comprises 46 companies.
