Uzbekistan and Japan discuss development of smart cities and transport infrastructure
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 27 March, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Transport, Ilkhomjon Abdugafarov, met with a delegation from Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism (MLIT), led by Kakuya Daisuke, Director of the Office for International Construction Strategy.
The parties exchanged views on advanced Japanese smart city technologies, their implementation, and potential joint projects.
Additionally, they discussed cooperation in the development of Uzbekistan’s transport infrastructure and the introduction of innovative solutions across the country’s regions.
