Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  A meeting took place between Ismatulla Irgashev, Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan, and Skand Ranjan Tayal, expert from the Indian think tank "Vivekananda International Foundation."

During the discussion, the parties addressed issues of regional security, including developments in Afghanistan, and potential collaborative efforts toward resolving the conflict in the country.

The Uzbek side informed the Indian delegation about the measures being undertaken to support a peaceful political process in Afghanistan, as well as ongoing transport and communication projects within the country.

S. Tayal praised Uzbekistan’s active involvement in establishing long-term and sustainable peace in Afghanistan and its contributions to restoring the country’s socio-economic infrastructure.
