Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Germany successfully completed the fourth and final stage of negotiations on an agreement on migration and mobility.
The initiative to sign the agreement was proposed by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to Germany in 2023 with the aim of creating conditions for temporary work of Uzbek citizens in Germany.
A working group, including representatives of ministries and departments of both countries, was created to prepare an agreement.
The fourth meeting of the working group led by the Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan Bekhzod Musayev and the Special Representative of the German Federal Government for Migration Agreements, Dr. Joachim Stamp, took place in Samarkand.
According to the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan, the signing of this agreement will allow citizens of Uzbekistan to have the opportunity to study according to German standards, study the German language and find employment in Germany.
