Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 July 2025, Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan, Ismatulla Irgashev, held talks with Erik Kurzweil, Commissioner for Indo-Pacific Policy, South Asia, and Afghanistan at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

The two sides exchanged views on key issues of bilateral cooperation related to the Afghan agenda, emphasizing the importance of continuing regular dialogue aimed at supporting a peaceful resolution to the situation in Afghanistan.

The talks were held in a constructive atmosphere. Both parties expressed interest in further developing practical dialogue between Uzbekistan and Germany.
