Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Senate of the Oliy Majlis has approved a law ratifying an intergovernmental agreement with China on the mutual protection of classified information.
The document was signed during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to China in May 2023.
Senator Anvar Tuychiev stated that this agreement is essential for ensuring the security of classified information exchange between the two countries.
The law consists of 19 articles and outlines measures for protecting classified information transmitted and received by both parties.
It also addresses the levels of classification, including the comparison of secrecy markings, as well as the frameworks for utilizing such information.
