Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new resort will be built in Tashkent region with the participation of investors from China. This was reported by the press service of the khokimiyat of Tashkent region.

A delegation from the khokimiyat of Tashkent region, headed by khokim Zoir Mirzaev, visited the resort area in Urumqi and got acquainted with the activities of the facility.

The delegation held a meeting with the management of the Chinese resort. The parties agreed to build a new resort in Aktash, Bostanlyk district, Tashkent region. The new resort will be located next to the Heaven’s Garden complex.

A Chinese delegation will visit Tashkent region in February to get acquainted with the investment climate in Uzbekistan and begin work on a new project.

The preliminary cost of the project is estimated at US$10 million.
