Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An Uzbek delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojaev held talks with representatives of China National Gold Group (CNGG) during an official visit to the People’s Republic of China.

Following the discussions, Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology Ulugbek Yusupov and CNGG executives signed a Memorandum of Understanding, opening new prospects for cooperation in the mining sector.

Under the agreement, the parties will collaborate on geological exploration of promising sites for precious and strategically important minerals, the development of deposits, and the production of high value-added products.

Special emphasis will be placed on the transfer of modern technologies, the training of qualified specialists, and the financing of promising projects.
