Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During an official visit to China, a delegation from the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry held a series of productive meetings aimed at expanding international cooperation in scientific research and production.

Notably, negotiations took place with the leadership of the Science and Technology Park at Tianjin University of Science and Technology. The parties exchanged experiences on developing science and technology parks, creating conditions to support startups, implementing mechanisms for commercializing scientific developments, and forming industrial solutions based on them.

The delegation also visited the Tianjin International Joint Academy of Biomedicine, one of China’s leading research centers in biopharmaceuticals. Discussions focused on prospects for cooperation in the production of biopharmaceutical and biotechnological products, the implementation of joint innovative projects, and strengthening scientific collaboration. The academy’s leadership expressed interest in establishing direct contacts with Uzbekistan’s scientific and production institutions and plans to visit the country soon.

Additionally, a meeting was held with representatives of CanSino Biologics, a company specializing in the development and production of innovative vaccines. The parties discussed the company’s advanced biotechnological solutions, international experience, and possibilities for mutually beneficial cooperation in promising fields.
