Uzbekistan and China discussed the organization of international exhibitions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23 October, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, met with Xia Wendi, Chairman of the Chinese company SINOMACH International.

The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of cooperation opportunities in organizing international exhibitions and attracting investments.

SINOMACH International is a holding subsidiary of SINOMACH (China National Machinery Industry Group), one of the largest industrial holding companies in China. The company specializes in organizing and hosting large-scale exhibitions both in China and abroad. Annually, it conducts over 50 exhibitions, covering more than 3 million square meters, and ranks among the top 50 exhibition organizers according to international classification.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of holding joint exhibitions in Uzbekistan and China to strengthen bilateral economic ties and promote international cooperation. The importance of sharing experiences in organizing specialized exhibitions was also emphasized, along with an expressed interest in implementing joint projects aimed at attracting investments and strengthening economic relations.

Xia Wendi, for his part, expressed readiness to deepen cooperation with Uzbekistan and noted that the company sees great potential in organizing exhibition events that can facilitate technology exchange, stimulate business activity, and expand opportunities for businesses in both countries.

As a result of the meeting, the parties developed a format for further interaction and reached an agreement to hold a series of joint exhibitions in Uzbekistan and China, which will contribute to the further development of trade and economic cooperation.
