Uzbekistan and Bangladesh exchange views on key issues of interstate relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 January 2019, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilhom Nematov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Massoud Mannan.

The parties exchanged views on key issues of interstate relations, prospects for their further development in 2019 in all areas acceptable to both parties.

Diplomats discussed proposals for the first round of the Uzbek-Bangladesh ministerial political consultations, the third meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

At the meeting, special attention was paid to the draft bilateral documents under consideration by the parties, including agreements on air traffic and on cooperation in the cultural sphere.
