Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan play goalless draw

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan national football team played a goalless draw with Azerbaijan in a friendly match, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

The match was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 20 August. The federation said that the sides created many chances to score, but both teams failed to convert chances to goals.

Uzbekistan is preparing to the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, which will be held in September 2014.

Uzbekistan will play two friendly matches in Tashkent on 4 and 8 September against Jordan and New Zealand respectively. Both matches will be held in Pakhtakor Stadium.
