The delegations, led by deputy foreign ministers examined the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, exchanged views on pressing regional and international problems, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
The issues of deepening cooperation in commercial, economic, investment, transport and communications, cultural and humanitarian spheres were considered during the meeting.
It was noted that the parties are interested in realizing the potential for expanding the range of goods and services in mutual trade, in new joint projects, extensively involving governmental bodies and business representatives.
The inventory of the legal-treaty base was also taken during the meeting.
The sides noted the importance of regular political consultations within the framework of the Program of cooperation between the ministries of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
