Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan, Behzod Musaev, held an online meeting with the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan, Sahil Babayev.

The main topic of discussion was a draft intergovernmental agreement titled "On the Protection of the Rights of Citizens of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Temporarily Residing in the Territory of the Two Countries."

During the meeting, the ministers identified key areas for organizing practical cooperation and exchanging experiences with their Azerbaijani counterparts, including labor inspection, electronic labor contract platforms, and electronic audits.

They also discussed the prospects of expanding cooperation between the monocenters of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan and the Professional Training Centers under the Ministry of Labor of Azerbaijan, as well as exchanging experience in detecting labor law violations using risk analysis systems.

Special attention was given to the possibility of implementing Azerbaijan’s DOST and AMAS "Labor and Employment" electronic systems in Uzbekistan, as well as the practice of labor arbitration.

During the constructive dialogue, the parties exchanged views on a number of pressing issues and their resolution, and outlined tasks to be addressed in the future.
