Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 October 2024, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, held talks with a delegation from Oman’s Asyad Group, led by Chairman Sheikh Nasser Suleiman Al-Harthi.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Uzbekistan, Wafa Jabr Nasser Al-Busaidi.
During the discussions, a wide range of Uzbek-Omani trade, economic, and investment partnerships were explored, with a focus on untapped areas and opportunities for active Omani investment participation.
Uzbekistan presented favorable business conditions and high net present value projects in sectors such as textiles, agriculture, logistics, real estate management, hospitality, and tourism.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to developing mutually beneficial cooperation and identified key industries for new project initiatives, culminating in the signing of a Cooperation Agreement.
