Aviation administrations of Uzbekistan and Italy signed a memorandum of understanding at their meeting in Rome, Italy.

The memorandum envisages that Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) received right to carry out direct flights Tashkent-Milan-Tashkent.

New flight between Tashkent and Milan will open on 20 July 2007. It is expected that the flight will be carried out once a week, but later it will be increased to three a week.
