Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Airways carried out a flight from Antalya to Tashkent with a delay due to a technical issue.

The airline reported that on 2 June 2024, at Antalya Airport, during the preparation of flight HY3224 on the Antalya - Tashkent route on a Boeing 787 aircraft, a malfunction in the left engine starting system was discovered.

"After conducting checks, including the participation of Turkish Technic representatives, the decision was made to accommodate passengers in hotels during the waiting period and to operate flight HY3224 on a reserve aircraft. Assistance was provided to passengers in passing passport control for city access and overnight accommodation in hotels," the airline noted.

At the moment, passengers of the delayed Antalya - Tashkent flight from 2 June successfully departed for Tashkent on 3 June at 11:51 local time (Antalya) on a reserve aircraft. The expected arrival time of flight HY3224 in Tashkent is 18:00.
