Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Airports, with the participation of the Uzaviatsiya Agency and the Uzaeronavigatsiya Center, held a meeting with a delegation of the French cargo airline CMA CGM Air Cargo, which arrived in Tashkent led by General Director Damien Mazauder.

During the working meeting, issues regarding the operation of cargo flights from China to France with a technical stop in Uzbekistan, in particular at Navoi International Airport, were discussed.

It is tentatively planned that the air carrier will operate five flights a week on Airbus A330 aircraft, and the Navoi airport will become a transfer point for technical landing, refueling and crew changes for the airline's aircraft.

Also during the visit, representatives of the French company were shown the technical and operational capabilities of Navoi Airport.

CMA CGM Air Cargo is a French cargo airline headquartered in Paris. The company was established in 2021 as the aviation division of the CMA CGM transport group.
