Uzbekistan, Agfa discuss cooperation in healthcare sphere

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 January 2019, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belgium Dilyor Khakimov met with the general director of the international company Agfa Jan Lius, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views and studied ways of expanding cooperation of Uzbekistan with the company founded in 1894, which produces goods for creating, processing and reproducing images, in particular, in medicine.

The parties highly appreciated the reforms in Uzbekistan in the field of public health, carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Following the talks, the parties agreed in principle to develop a joint action plan on expanding cooperation. The Belgian company’s delegation plans to visit Uzbekistan in February to determine the specific needs and priorities of our country’s health system.
